Accident/Incident Reports

Accident reports are available 7-10 business days after the accident.  Copies of the report may be purchased at the Greenfield Police Department for $6.00.  Only checks or money orders can be accepted and made out to Greenfield Police Department. Cash cannot be accepted. Accident reports can also be purchased online at www.buycrash.com.

Incident reports (theft, criminal mischief, fraud, etc.) are available 72 hours after the incident is reported.  Copies can be purchased for $4.00.  Only checks or money orders can be accepted and made out to Greenfield Police Department. Cash cannot be accepted.

Both can be picked up Monday - Friday during regular business hours.

Insurance agents or law firms requesting reports by mail need to send the request including the date of the accident/incident, name of party involved and location of the accident/incident along with the check in the appropriate amount and a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the report to be returned.  We do not accept phone or fax requests.
