Heavy Item Pickup

The City of Greenfield’s 2025 Heavy Item Collection Guidelines

The City of Greenfield plans a two-week program to rid city properties of heavy items. Tyler Rankins Street Commissioner announced that the 2025 Heavy Pick-up would be as follows:

April 26th for residents on the east side of State Road 9

May 3rd for residents on the west side of State Road 9

Residents wanting items hauled away must have items at the curb on the above dates by 7:00 a.m. on your perspective Saturday. We do not pick up at apartment complexes, business addresses and churches. We do not pick up in alleys.

We will not pick up any household trash, limbs, tires, oil, batteries, building materials, basketball goals or other items designated by The Street Commissioner. Paint will be picked up only when it is dry and in open containers. Due to the rising cost of E-scrap the City of Greenfield will no longer pick up T.V.’s or Computer Monitors during heavy trash.

Trash will only be picked up inside of the CITY LIMITS.

No need to call the Street Department any longer for pick up, if you have any questions call 317-325-1680, please leave a message, if needed, we will return your call.
